Drumtochty Highland Games Over 3000 people attended a traditional Scottish Games in traditional Scottish weather. Sunshine in the morning, overcast at lunchtime and a good bit of rain in the afternoon. But nothing could stop the enjoyment of the spectators and athletes alike. A good time was had by everyone! The Games were opened by Chieftain Jimmy McGregor, left, pictured with Chairman Jim Brown, middle and Commentator Robbie Shepherd MBE, right. As you can see, despite the "wee bit" of rain in the afternoon, everyone had a good time and all the competitions were completed. There was however another event taking place, which you may have miss, unless you were able to penetrate the wall of tents.
Yes, the Highland Dancing. I was privileged to move freely inside the Games Field and therefore able to take a few sneaky pictures. I hope the Mums of the little Girls and Boys will forgive me. ************************* The last salute and the Games 2004 are closed Do not forget to mark next years
