Drumtochty Highland Games 2006

Yes the weather was a bit changeable, from cloudy to rain to sunshine and blue sky, repeated every 15 minutes.

Atmosphere: brilliant!

Not Hadrian's Wall, no,  just a wall of tents in front of the Highland Dancers. Making it almost impossible to see what's going on.

Scotland 1  -  Germany 0

A group of friends from Germany, organizing every year a outing, decided, after seeing our Games on the Internet, to come to Scotland and Drumtochty.
Never done a Tug-o-war before they challenge a Scottish Team; and duly lost. Unfortunately I missed the challenge, but looking at their footwear it was obvious they had the wrong gear for the day, otherwise they would have pulled Scotland right across the field......maybe!  Well done Lads, great fun,  come again !!!
